Create once, connect often. A 3-step process to grow your brand with ease.
MAKE THE CONNECTION
Build a System. Grow Your Brand.
Let’s be honest—many people start newsletters with excitement, then stall after two sends. Why?
No process. No plan. No system.
I had two client calls yesterday where the same issue came up:
They want to stay visible.
They need to nurture their audience.
But they’re overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin.
I get it—because I felt the exact same way.
From 2021 until recently, I relied only on LinkedIn as my funnel.
It worked—until it started to change.
Algorithms shift. Engagement evolves. Audiences scatter.
What I wish I had done sooner?
Set up a system to own my audience, not rent it.
Here’s the exact 3-step method I use today to keep this newsletter running smoothly and stress-free:
1
STEP 1: Build the Strategy First
Before writing a single word, ask yourself:
- Who is my ideal reader?
- What action do I want them to take?
- What’s the business outcome I want from this?
- What metrics matter? (Clicks, replies, discovery calls booked?)
No fluff—just function with purpose.
2
STEP 2: Build a Template
I use KIT for its ease and consistency.
But use whatever works—as long as it includes: Your brand look and voice. Plus, a repeatable layout, clear CTAs, and a prompt for replies
Bonus: Having a template removes 90% of the guesswork.
3
STEP 3: Batch the Content
Here’s where the real freedom begins.
Once you’ve nailed steps 1 and 2—you can batch multiple newsletters at once.
At The Borden Group, we often batch these newsletters and our blog 3 to 6 months in advance.
It’s not about volume—it’s about vision.
✅ This frees up my time
✅ It gives my team space to focus on client strategy and creative
✅ It creates a calm, consistent cadence without last-minute scrambles
A system isn’t just efficiency—it’s expansion.
But here’s the part most people skip…
You need a front door.
Create a landing page on your website where people can subscribe.
This becomes your owned audience.
Add a lead magnet + call to action on your LinkedIn profile.
Example: “Want my 3-step system? Grab the guide here.”
You’re not just building visibility—you’re building an ecosystem.
Pro Tip: Your newsletter is not a side project. It’s your personal PR machine.
One idea can be repurposed into posts, reels, emails, and client strategy.
When you build structure around your creativity, you multiply your impact.”

What would change if your newsletter ran without you?
What could you build, launch, or lead with that time back?
Reply and tell me where you’re stuck:
Is it strategy, batching, tech, or visibility?
