earchable leadership is the new baseline for influence.
BEHIND THE CURTAIN
Before meetings are booked, decisions are already being made. The market is researching you long before you ever enter the room. And here’s what most don’t realize:
Your visibility is either accelerating trust or slowing it down.
I see this constantly: highly credible leaders with real results, strong reputations, and years of experience. But their digital presence doesn’t reflect any of it.
Not because they lack expertise, but because it hasn’t been translated into something the market can see and understand. I talk about this in my book in almost every single chapter. That gap creates friction, and friction costs you opportunities. You may not want to believe that, but it is happening every day.
So today, I want to give you practical tactics you can use immediately to make your brand more visible, more credible, and more clear.
1
If your profile reads like a resume, you’re losing authority.
Your LinkedIn should not list what you did—it should show how you think.
What to do:
- Rewrite your headline to reflect who you help + what you’re known for
- Add 2–3 short, perspective-driven statements in your About section
- Include one clear point of view you want to be associated with
2
2. If your expertise isn’t visible, it doesn’t scale.
If people can’t quickly find your thinking, what you built, or what you are known for, they can’t trust it at scale.
What to do:
- Choose 3 core topics you want to be known for
- Post or write about them consistently (1–2x per week is enough)
- Turn real conversations, client moments, or decisions into short insights
3
3. If you don’t have proof, you create hesitation.
The market is looking for signals: results, stories, and validation.
What to do:
- Add 3–5 proof points to your profile (results, testimonials, wins)
- Use your Featured section intentionally
- Reference outcomes in your content, not just ideas
When all else fails, save your profile as a PDF and upload it into the LLM of your choice (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).

Podcasts
If you host a podcast for marketers, B2B, founders or executives and want a conversation that gives your audience a clear next move, I’d love to be considered. After people hear me speak, they will stop underestimating the value of what they know and start seeing their expertise as something that can create visibility, authority, and opportunity.

Keynote
This spring, I’m opening up 3 opportunities to bring my keynote to founder groups, executive teams, ERGs, and organizations investing in leadership visibility.
Your Knowledge = Your Advantage
The 5 shifts that turn your expertise into authority people trust
If your organization is thinking more intentionally about visibility, leadership presence, and trust, this keynote was built for that conversation. If you lead a team, run a group, plan events, or know someone who does, please send me a message or make an introduction. Let’s talk!
Ask Yourself This:
If someone searched your name today—would they clearly understand your expertise, your perspective, and why you matter? Or would they have to figure it out on their own?
Opportunities aren’t just about who you know anymore. They’re about how quickly the market ( and machines) can trust what you know.
Till next time –
Until next time,
Melanie Borden
