Why Time Batching Is the Smartest Move You’ll Make This Month.
MAKE THE CONNECTION
We’ve all stared at the blinking cursor, trying to come up with something insightful to say. Or spent hours bouncing between meetings, only to realize you didn’t post a single piece of content all week. My stomach often does a flip when I speak to leaders who tell me they log in to LinkedIn to figure out what to post, and then post in the moment.
The solution? Time batching.
In this issue, I am breaking down how to use time batching to streamline your content creation—especially when you’re juggling everything else.
What You’ll Learn in This Issue:
- The three core content phases to batch (curation, ideation, writing)
- How batching protects your creative energy
- My go-to method for planning a week of content in one focused session
Content Chaos vs. Content Clarity
Creating consistent, high-value content isn’t about doing more—it’s about working smarter. That’s where batching becomes your best friend. Instead of jumping from task to task, try separating your content workflow into dedicated blocks:
1
Curation Block: Spend 30-90 minutes gathering inspiration—articles, trends, ideas from your industry. (Use tools like Feedly, Pocket, or LinkedIn Saves.) Quora and Reddit are another two fan favorites to look for ideas.
2
Ideation Block: Sit with those ideas and ask yourself: What’s my take? What’s missing? What would resonate with my audience? Use AI as your brainstorming partner—just be sure to bring your own voice to the mix. Pro Tip: Make sure you introduce your ICP to AI first for an even more accurate result.
3
My Personal Workflow
Sundays: I take 90 minutes to batch curation + ideation for the week (and feed AI with my notes, voice, shield analytics notes, market research, and recent wins).
Mondays: I take what I have batched, edit, and schedule all posts.
Fridays: I review what worked (data) and prep for next week.
By batching content creation into themed time blocks, I free up my brain for strategy, client work, and—most importantly—real connection.
“Your personal brand isn’t built in scattered moments—it’s built through intentional, consistent action. Time batching gives your brilliance the structure it needs to shine.”
— Melanie Borden
Ask Yourself This:
What would happen if you set aside just 2 hours a week to batch your content?
You don’t need more time. You need more structure. And the best part? Once you find your flow, consistency becomes effortless.
Let batching be your secret weapon for creating without burning out.

With Strategy,
